What data we process and why

  • Bookings: the details you enter when booking (name, email, phone, ID) are processed to manage your booking and invoicing. They are entered and stored in ICNEA, our booking system, and payment is processed by its secure gateway: this website never sees or stores your card.
  • Availability alerts: if you leave your phone and email to be told when something frees up, we use them to contact you about that availability and, as the form states, to send you our offers.
  • Offers and news: if you sign up, we use your email for commercial communications. Unsubscribe at any time from the email itself or by writing to us.
  • Analytics: only if you accept cookies, Google Analytics gives us aggregate usage statistics. In addition, Vercel, the platform serving this website, counts visits without cookies or identifiers: page viewed, country, browser and device type, nothing that could recognise you.
  • Our own usage statistics: without cookies, we record which pages and properties are viewed, which dates and party sizes are searched, which filters are used and clicks on WhatsApp, phone or email, to learn what works on the website. We do not store your IP or any identifier: they cannot tell us who you are.

Legal basis

Performance of your booking (contract); your consent for alerts, offers and Google Analytics — consent recorded with its date and the exact wording you saw —; and our legitimate interest in Vercel's aggregate visit statistics and in our own usage statistics, which identify no one.

Where data is stored

In ICNEA, our booking system, and — for alerts and offers — also in our own database hosted in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany), where we also keep our usage statistics, with no personal data. The website is served with processing in the EU. Aggregate visit statistics, which contain no personal data, are handled by Vercel and may be processed outside the EU; Vercel is certified under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

Your rights

Access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability: write to info@apartamentoschiclana.es. You may also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).

Retention

Booking data is kept for the legally required invoicing periods; offers and alert data until you unsubscribe.
